Please remember that we are a working farm. Our tracks are quite uneven and they can be muddy when it's wet and dusty when it's dry. Please don't expect to keep your car clean and our advice is to leave low precious vehicles behind if possible.
Everyone, but especially children would benefit from covered shoes/boots/wellies and long trousers if you are planning to go exploring in the countryside, they will provide some protection against brambles and nettles.
Follow navigation directions to CO6 4BB.
If you approach from Coach Road in Great Horkesley and pass the primary school on your right, keep going until you reach the bend turning 90 degrees to the right, and instead of following the bend around to the right continue straight on, onto Woodhouse Lane. Continue on Woodhouse Lane for about 30m and turn left through the gates into Woodhouse Farm.
If you approach from the Sudbury/West Bergholt direction you will join the other end of Coach Road . Proceed along Coach Road until you spot 30mph and 'welcome to Great Horkesley' signs. Just before these signs is a farm track on your right with a Woodhouse Farm sign. Go down the track and as it bends around to the left you will see the farm gates and signs straight ahead.
We should meet you somewhere on the main farmyard, but if you have arranged to go straight to the Lake site pass through the farmyard and to the right and follow the track down the hill . You will see a track going off to your right but keep going until you find the next track/bridge on your right. You will see the campsite over the bridge and going to the left and right. We will have told you your pitch allocation.
Follow navigation directions to CO6 3JP.
Navigation systems will bring you to Armoury Road in West Bergholt which is nearly opposite a red painted general store.
Proceed down Armoury Road, it bends to the right, keep going and the paved road changes to a track past a horse rider road sign, keep going past horse fields until you come to a menage (horse riding area) on your left. Don't take the first left between the paddocks, instead turn left down the track signed public footpath immediately past the menage keeping the menage on your left, go to the silver gate at the end of the track and we will meet you.
